She currently tweets about the local food scene in Asheville on Twitter as @Foodtopia. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a degree in Mass Communications and is the co-founder of Asheville Women @ Work. She lives outside of Asheville with her husband, six chickens, and her purebred boxer. On her own time, she enjoys growing a garden, canning and cooking her favorite southern recipes. Her ultimate goal is to own a mini-farm, complete with more chickens, a cow, a pig and at least one more boxer.
